I started wearing glasses for long distance when I was in my teens and now I wear glasses for short distance. Without them, my sight is blurred and I truly see nothing as it is now! This physical reality extends far beyond, in terms of what I see around me and its relative meaning in my life.
Have you ever been looking for your keys only to finally spot them on the kitchen counter? They were there the entire time of your frantic search, yet imperceptible by the human eye. What else do we not see that is right here, right now?
So today’s practice lesson is about seeing things as no thing – at least for now. Looking at things around me and entertaining the possibility that they are not as I see them now.
