When I was traveling in Peru on an Ascension Journey I purchased a selenite wand crafted by a fellow traveler who happened to be from my home state of Colorado. This wand now sits on a table with other treasures from various spiritual journeys I’ve made. Each time I look at it or use it I return to where I was when I first saw it, the room, the people, the feelings I had then. And yet that was over two years ago.
The wand represents and is energized with intentionality: intention to manifest a dream, relationship, lifestyle or whatever I focus upon. All based on the future, informed by the past. So does my future look like the past – a rerun I keep waiting to watch?
Now here’s the interesting irony:
The wand was acquired in the past and I see the past vividly.
The wand is about the future and I see my desire clearly.
But I do not live in either.
The older I get the more past I accumulate and the more I can tend to live there. Gazing through the rear view mirror of what once was, all the while missing what is, until it is what was.
